Debt Management For Students

Is age 28 too late to start working at a career job??

I am 24 right now, in debt with student loans at about $120,000, and only have a year of college done. I have been slacking off and didn’t really open my eyes until now. I have been looking at career jobs that I could start at now to start paying off my loans but none of them make really good money. As I see it, my only options right now are to start working full time as an air traffic controller (best pay for no degree) or stay in school for another 3 and a half years to get my aviation management degree (but my loans will be accumulating more intrest). Any ideas please??????
There was a comment that asked if the 120,000 was a typo. No its not, the loans are private student loans so yes you can pretty much get however much you want. I have been living on those and not working for the past few years. Very very stupid, I know. But im stuck with them now so I HAVE to figure out what to do about a job.

i owed a lot of money and had nothing to show for at school.
so i stopped being lazy and got a job that had opportunities for me to move up….but i started at the very bottom…..and went to school. when i finally graduated i interviewed for a higher up position and got it. now i have a carreer and a degree. i didn’t owe 120k but it was pretty high up there. in two years i have paid almost all of it (8k left to go). 28 is not too late ..just get out there and do it, get organized and get a plan together, the harderst part is admitting that you have messed up, you obviously know what you want to do (aviation management)… just go for it:)
